How can one contractor quote you $21,525, and another $8,890, for the same roof?
Which one do you trust — the cheapest, the most expensive, or someone in the middle?
I’m Bobby, a local roofing contractor born and raised in Montgomery County. And yep — the work you see here? That’s mine.
At Realistic Exterior, we handle it all Worry Free roof replacements, For Residential & Commercial Properties with honest advice. If my buddy came to me and asked:
“Bobby, who should I trust to do my roof?”
Here’s what I’d tell them:
1. Beware of “Sign Today!” Discounts
If a company pressures you with a “today-only” deal, it’s a red flag. That usually means the price is inflated — they don’t want you to shop around.
2. Super Low Quotes? Major Warning Sign.
If a quote is way below the others, ask why. Lowball bids often cut corners, use cheap materials, or skip essentials.
3. Salespeople ≠ Roofers
A lot of companies send sales reps with little to no real roofing experience. Ask about their background. It matters.
Before jumping on a “great deal,” get a quote from me. No pressure. Just real numbers and honest advice.
I’m your neighbor, not a big company from out of town. I know what a roof should cost — and how it should be built to last.
